William E. "Skosh" Taylor
 YN1, USN Early COR

Skosh joined the Navy July 1947 and upon completion of BUDs shortly was assigned to UDT-3 and later to UDT-12 where he participated in work on the Dewline and with the third platoon in Korea. He says, like others, he doesn’t remember much any more. He retired in November 1966 after 20 years of service.

In civilian life Skosh was a manager in a retail store.  He retired in October 1992. He is married to Estrelle. They have two sons and a daughter: (William R., Christopher S. and Katherine A), and five grandchildren. They reside at 4356 Sheena DR, in Phoenix. AZ 85032-5811. Email: vet.seal@cox.net.

Editor: Skosh was one of the most liked frogs. He was quiet and did a lot of help to me working side by side in UDUONE. He recalls going to Alaska through Edmonton Canada and his experiences at Inchon Landing-Wonsan Harbor.
