 Through out the PRU Advisors tour, he would normally wear civilian clothes and use PRU card. During his operations in the field with the PRUs, would dress as PRU operators as much as possible, so  as to not become too conspicuous and be an attractive target. Since the Pru   Advisers were enlisted and had to deal with military officers who were also advisors in many of the Districts andProvinces, his civilian  cover would he help him avoid situations where a military officer, American, or     Vietnam might try to pull rank and interfere with his operational duties. PRU Advisors normally lived in

 

 

 

an Embassy Compound, which usually was not to close to the PRU Camp.. He ate many meals at the Embassy Compound and at local restaurants when in the field. The meals at the PRU Camp were often interesting to say  the least.
