WHO WE ARE: This site is dedicated to the Navy Frogmen who served in the decade of the 1950’s. We have published a Journal of the Fifties Frogs that contains stories, biographies, and photographs of the officers and men who served in this period. The Fifties Frogs Journal of the Underwater Demolition Teams was published in 2000, by Donald "Popeye" Belcher. The hardcover coffee table size book contains 248 pages and 500 photos. If you are a Fifties Frog and are just now learning about us, and want to include a story of yours (we'll edit it for you) in our bi-annual magazine of the 50’s Frogs its easy to do so. Because of the number of requests from frogs who sent in articles and photos for the Journal that weren’t printed, I have created the Fifties Frogs Magazine. The magazine will be published twice a year. It features old articles, photos, book reviews, bios, and other memorabilia from the 50's era, plus something new now and then. You have the option of subscribing to a hardcopy, snail-mail, version of the Fifties Frogs Magazine for $2.00 per year. Or, you may read the free online version of the Fifties Frogs Magazine. The hardcopy version will average 4-8 pages. The online version will have the same content but it will be formatted a bit differently. To subscribe to the hardcopy version please complete the Questionnaire. The Fifties Frogs Magazine begins with Vol 1 (Additions and Corrections to The Fifties Frogs Journal).
