Cool ! ....very nice. Job well done. Hooyah for the Marler/Russell combo. We could use some help with names, though...I noticed that many of the photos were lacking names. I'll try to help with that.

I wonder why there's no photos of Mack Boynton. We need to explore others to see if they have photos of him and his wife especially since the last gathering was featuring him as the distinguished participant...Aye?  Have any suggestions on that?

Volume 16 was very good.

From Phil Carrico.

Congratulations my friend - see, I knew you were gonna be good....
Really, a great job and have no doubt we are all most appreciative of your efforts...(Not many would have accepted that chore--editing the magazine.)

For your info - an interesting tid-bit on the "Foley" story...
Our good friend, "The Reno Kid" (Gerry Meyers) is one of the last Frogs to talk to Foley. Gerry said Foley died at the VA hospital in Reno. I have forgotten the year.

Also, I found out in June when talking to Atcheson, (George) he had gone to work for some construction company sometime in the 80's - to his surprise Foley was an employee of the company. And according to him, that was the only time he had met one of the old squad until I visited. George also told me Foley had worked as a lifeguard at Santa Monica soon after the Korean War. That's amazing as I became Supervisor of Aquatics for Los Angeles and was in charge of all the lifeguards - however, Foley was long gone before then (my hitch there was in the 70's)....

Our friend Harold Dunnigan worked Venice Beach at one time - also before my time.

Forgive me for banging your ear with this stuff - but reminiscing is kinda good...
